Is there a free online translator that gives you word and sentences that people use when they talk?

No...on-line translators are notoriously bad at phrases and sentences but OK for single words.

Try this...(in any of the links these people have provided)

1)Type in a simple sentence in English..eg "I get fatter every day".

2) Translate it into, say, Portuguese (or a language of your choice).

3) Copy the answer down and translate it back into English....do you get what you put in originally? Is it proper English? Does it even make sense?
