What is the Italian translation of the word "faith" as in the context of "faith in God"?

I already looked up "faith" on an online English to Italian translator, and the word "fede" came up. I want to know if this is for sure the correct translation of the word in the context I want it, so please only answer if you know for sure! Again, I'm looking for the noun "faith" in the context of "faith in God." Also, if you could show me how to pronounce it, I'd also appreciate it. The correct translation is "Fede in Dio". Another word is "credo", but we use to day "fede".
