Ok my friend is saying that Google translator is good at translating, but i believe all translators make mistakes coz their translating method depends upon just translating word by word, so is Google translator really good at translating and doesn't make mistakes (e.g grammatical mistakes).|||It surely does. All the automatic translators work, word by word. They can cover some of the commonly used grammar but as soon as it gets a complex or lengthy sentence, it starts making errors.
Especially when a word has multiple meanings, translator will always be confused about which meaning is the correct one. Let it be Google translator or any other.|||i don't find using google translate very helpful for me, ive been studying german for 3 years now, and my teacher has always recommended that i don't use it... purely because it translates everything word for word, i don't know what language your doing, but in most cases i would not use it for translating sentences.|||Google translator is better than most online translators, it doesn't translate word for word. This means there are less grammatical mishaps- but they are still there.|||Google has as many errors as other translators. It doesn't have updated slang and it mixes words around in a sentence.|||It's not perfect, but it gets the job done.
